The senses method
Standard cotton is very easy to fold and has a soft texture, as observed with the eye. However, mixed cotton does not result in wrinkles or folds when crumpled, resulting in a beautiful sheen and exceptional durability.
Thermodynamic method
In addition to the sense method, cotton can also be identified using thermodynamics. If burning small cotton results in pink flames, gray smoke, and no plastic residue, the fabric is made entirely of cotton. In contrast, when cotton blends are burned, they will smell like plastic and clump. The stronger the plastic smell, the higher the polyethylene ratio.
Water permeability of cotton
Almost the entire surface of a fabric made of 100 percent cotton has a high water permeability rate. However, if the material is a blend of cotton and polypropylene, the water permeability is slow, and the degree of spreading is not uniform.

The cotton washing methods

- Use warm water and normal washing machine settings.
- Dry on the lowest heat setting after washing.
- Use a steam iron or iron on the hottest setting to prevent wrinkles after washing. Spray a thin layer of glue on the neck and sleeve areas to maintain the shape.
